Many coverages are available in addition to your primary homeowners coverage. These optional coverages include: Flood, Mold Remediation, Equipment Breakdown, Cyber Security and more.
Here are some of the benefits offered by our insurance company partners:
Flood & Excess Flood
Flood coverage is excluded from your homeowners coverage and must be purchased separately. More than 20% of flood claims take place in low to moderate flood risk zones. Flood is defined as an overflow of surface water, a general and temporary condition where two or more acres of normally dry land, or two or more properties are inundated by water or mudflow. Flood policies are needed for each structure you would like flood coverage for. There are basic limits available through FEMA and higher limits may be available through the private market.
Cyber Security Coverage
With technological advances, Fraud and cybercrime are on the rise and successful individuals and families are at a greater risk of being targeted.
These coverages can be purchased for coverage of common equipment found within your home such as electrical systems, HVAC systems, pool pumps and others. This coverage does not apply to wear and tear but rather coverage for when something malfunctions causes a sudden and accidental breakdown.
Earthquake is excluded as a covered peril on homeowners policies. Coverage may be available depending on your specific location and other risk factors.
